We wanted to give a shout out to our friends at Photo Center Northwest who are currently hosting the Vivian Maier exhibition. An only recently discovered photographer, she documented the streets of Chicago for years with her Rolleiflex Twin Lens Reflex camera. More and more is being discovered about her story and the story behind how she was “discovered” by a young man working for a historical preservation society is quite fascinating. Vivian Maier’s images are at once classic but also refreshing as her work has never before been published.
